Dow Jones has just jumped about 160 points in only about 10 minutes after word leaked out that the EU capitulated and bowed to the true leader of the free world, Donald J. Trump, and agreed to purchase soybeans, medical products and other US industrial goods, solely done to narrow the horrible $151 billion trade deficit.

Also, Trump made a deal for LNG trade between the USA and EU. Russia must pissed, eh?

So, comrades, Trump is a tool of Putin as all you bashers claim ?? Ha Ha Ha, the stupidity of some holds no bounds.

It's a process.

Like making sausage.
You don't want to see how it's made, just grill it and eat it.

The more you talk the more you demonstrate you have no idea what you are talking about...

Trump announces a ‘new phase’ in US-EU relationship, working toward ‘zero tariffs’

Quote:
"We agreed today first of all to work together towards zero tariffs, zero nontariff barriers and zero subsides for the non-auto industrial goods," Trump said Wednesday.
I thought that was what this was about?

Quote:
“All I can say is that the talks are ongoing," Malinowska said in a statement. "President Juncker is working to avert new tariffs. No concessions made.”
Quote:
Juncker said the two leaders agreed that as long as negotiations were ongoing, "we'll hold off further tariffs and reassess existing tariffs on steel and aluminum" put in place by the Trump administration. "This was a good, constructive meeting," he added.
But hey... just because he puts lipstick on a pig feel free to kiss it.

I'm just glad the EU and Commerce Department talked some sense into the idiot to get him to STOP.

Yeah, that's from CNBC, which also said that the US and the EU have agreed to start negotiations. CNBC reported that the EU has agreed to hold off on any new tariffs while negotiations were on-going.

But it was reported here that it is a done deal and a major victory for The Donald.

Gee, who to believe?

I'd believe the guy that has been correct way more often than any idiot or two who has been consistently wrong since June 2015. That's who should be believed.

So the US president and the EU big wig both say a trade deal has been made, but Sara Eisen of CNBC says something different and a few clowns on here believe her.

Personally I'll be super happy if we sign a Free Trade agreement with the EU.

I noticed how the pivot 4 months ago was fair trade but now the Donald is all about Free and Fair Trade.

The EU has no issue with Free Trade... they just inked a massive deal with Japan a week ago.

Curious what Trumpers think a free trade deal will do to the deficit with the EU though...

I'm cool man.

I like Free Trade.

I'm not the idiot arguing about Trade Deficits and "fair" trade for 50+ pages throughout here.

You realize that if you're version of the story is true I'm over here like .

It's you guys who have had a problem with it. I highly doubt though things like our 25% import duty on vans and trucks are going anywhere though.

I also noted even el presidente intentionally mentioned autos were omitted from the discussion which was his main complaint on twitter.

If you don't think trade deficits matter and that these previously corrupt trade deals are fair, then you don't know what you're talking about. But we all knew that already.

How will completely free trade address the trade deficit?

Start googling and let me know what you find.

There is a whole thread of you bashing unfettered free trade and its link to deficits.

NOW you want to come to my side of the aisle? Because Trump suddenly has?

Hilarious.

China set to retaliate by purchasing soy beans from Brazil at highly inflated prices. So sad.
