Race 2 Ascot (Saturday) finish a disgrace says GBI commentator

It will be interesting to see if the presenter on GBI racing UK is back again after saying the finish to RACE 2 was a disgrace with mulitple jockeys not riding out their mounts to the finish and possibly costing themseleves a placing.

Just for the record the 1st place and 2nd place horse(s) were both 35-1.

A not so fun fact: I hit this exacta for $2 through 5dimes. Official payout was $2400+, dimes lists Ascot as a "medium" track and does not pay full odds. Got 400-1 ($800), rather than full payout.

Bitching and moaning to Tony for some sort of consolation but i am likely SOL.

Nice hit. That "medium" classification sucks, especially considering it was their big meet.

Thanks. I noticed the HK tracks are medium as well. I have attempted to swing for some boxcar quinellas there and max is 200-1. Good to know from here on out.

The way I see it, is a guy who had a fav or two that didnt get in the exacta.

The jockeys in Europe don't kill their horse when they are out of gas. They respect the animal a lot more then they do in the United States.
