Documentary particularly germane today

The American Experience, a PBS staple is a wondrously informative window for us to the past and this last week a particularly good episode was presented The Blinding of Isaac Woodard about a black soldier who was attacked by Southern police for nothing other than the color of his skin and the tidal wave of legal challenges to segregation his case started.

Available right here for viewing. https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/americanexp...isaac-woodard/

Of interest, there is a section near the beginning of a news article from 1946 listing the people who had been lynched that week, and what do you know, one listed was named GEORGE FLOYD.

It's one thing to study history and learn from it; but it's something else entirely to live in the past and believe that we're all still living in it and that nothing has changed. It's akin to being interminably stuck on stupid.

It is germane because it shows how far we have progressed.

You can't move forward when you spend your time looking backwards.

A Tom Brown drowned on the Titanic, but I still go out on boats.

It will never end unless the United States is destroyed and absorbed into the New World Order.

46, you Sad Sack, you never even read the new law, did you?
It EXPANDS opportunities to vote and is more voter-friendly than the voting laws in Delaware, home of the POS lying POTUS.
