#9 CONQUEST TYPHOON - (Stormy Atlantic x Swanky Bubbles)
Ran well in the Grade 3 Grey stakes at Woodbine when beaten by International Star. He led and was passed late in the final furlong of the race. All indications is that he will get the distance and will likely enjoy the surface at Golden Gate since its similar to that of Woodbine. In demand jockey Mike Smith will ride and that's another positive sign. Take Conquest Typhoon to win.

#3 METABOSS - (Street Boss x Spinning Yams)
In his only start on dirt, he was beaten into 4th by 8 ¾ lengths at the hands of Ocho Ocho Ocho. This is BIG a step up in class with a lot of question signs. What we like about this colt is the fact that he’s one of the few horses in this spot who genuinely likes the distance of ground and his sire Street Boss has an excellent record for starters on all weather surfaces.

#10 MISCHIEF CLEM - (Papa Clem x Glitteringmischief)
Our top pick last time out in the Cal Cup Derby , who won at a nice price. He’s back in this spot which should suit him but the distance maybe too far for his own liking. Desormeaux/Hess is a good combination but that alone won’t help him. He will pick up the pieces if everyone else falters

Very good win by Metaboss at 6/1. That was all STREET BOSS love for the all weather surfaces. Noted in my analysis.

My picks ran 1st, 3rd and 4th. My longshot #6 finished 4th at 43/1. He came closing but could manage the pace. Missed exacta but i can't complain.
