Sorry Jay but I'm of the belief that some of the best horseplayers, especially the Longshot players, even with all the big wins, their horses will run 2nd hell of ALOT more and most will routinely get beaten at the wire, more often than not. Just the life of a Longshot player, guess we signed up for this....

Statistically longshots have a better chance of finishing 2d. When long enough I play WP. But if your longshot finishes 2d, the bit of solace is that you had a horse that outperfomed public expectation

BTW I have a diff theory...I can NOT post picks here. When i do they lose. When I don't I have a shot. Hit GP exacta just now (played - came in - bet $6, got back $57.20. If I had posted it would have finished 1st and 3d !!!!

Glad you hit but the PACE curse is real JD

These last few weeks whatever LS I don't post more often than not, is the longshot winner, this happen a lot on here not sure why but like you, not so much when I bet myself...Just happened again here at DEL, few times again yesterday and so on, in fact I would urge all the lurkers on this thread to play any other LS in the race, using my picks, especially those 25-1 and 30-1 shots, their ROI would be through the frigin roof! And I'm not even kidding, JD follows along he knows what I'm talking about...

1st of course Jay!

Not really sure about favorites, not my expertise...

What I will say is that trainer and jock are due for a win, this could be their best chance, horse looks competitive with this bunch...
