You have not been privy to how that is explained away? Democrats claim the Republicans of the civil war era would be Democrats if alive today and the Southern Democrats of that era are today's Republicans. They also claim segregationists like George Wallace would be a Republican if he lived today.
Lefties love to make shit up.

From Wikipedia:
For the 2003–2004 session, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) [102] rated Byrd's voting record as being 100% in line with the NAACP's position on the thirty-three Senate bills they evaluated. Sixteen other senators received that rating. In June 2005, Byrd proposed an additional $10,000,000 in federal funding for the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in Washington, D.C., remarking that, "With the passage of time, we have come to learn that his Dream was the American Dream, and few ever expressed it more eloquently." [103] Upon news of his death, the NAACP released a statement praising Byrd, saying that he "became a champion for civil rights and liberties" and "came to consistently support the NAACP civil rights agenda". That kind of shows you the character the NAACP has, which is none.

“Fight” doesn’t necessarily mean physical violence. In fact it usually doesn’t.
On the other hand MAGA calling for armed revolution is. Tom calling to shoot migrants at the border is. Shootings at Synagogue, churches and schools are.
When Trump says fight, he means physically hurt someone. It’s the way he has lived his entire life.

You need to watch the video a few thousand times to let it sink in.
You (and everyone like you) do NOT own the moral high ground here.
Far from it.
