Ronnie O’Sullivan
Congratulations on winning his third straight Shanghai masters tournament.
This guy is the best snooker player ever, could be the the best at any cueing game, period. He has 15 perfect (147) games. Over 1000 century breaks. Five time world champion. Won over 10 million pounds in prize money and shows no signs of slowing down.
Here is his fastest 147.

Ronny is amazing to watch. I love this match where he had a 147 going but refused to go for it because the bonus wasn't big enough.

Without doubt a superb player. Best ever is always subjective and I think there are others that could lay claim, Steve Davis, Stephen Hendry. I would go for Davis but also wouldn't argue with anyone who thought Hendry or O'Sullivan. I think O'Sullivan would be an emphatic choice if his temperament and attitude hadn't let him down on some occasions. Still, one of the very best and definitely a crowd favourite and great to watch.

Missed The Rocket
My snooker viewing days were in the 1970/80s when I lived in Ireland.
The sport became a viewing sensation in the UK with the rise of colo(u)r tv.
It was a lot of fun to watch - that game takes a lot of skill.
Looking at O'Sullivan's record, he has to be close to best ever.
Steve Davis was probably the best I ever saw in his prime.
Boring as hell, though. So clinical.
Alex Higgins and Jimmy White were far more fun to watch.

Ronnie O’Sullivan comes back from 7-2 down to defeat Mark Williams 13-10 and advance to the semi-finals of the World Snooker Championship. He will face Mark Selby in the bottom bracket final.

I was a great final frame. The one thing I will take from the game though was when Williams looked on course to taking that frame he accidently touched the yellow ball with his cue, no one saw it, including the ref. Williams got up and told the ref what he had done and called a foul on himself, all but handing the match to O'Sullivan. Sportsmanship at it's best.

Ronnie O’Sullivan beats Kyren Wilson 18-8 to win his 6th World Championship. Best break builder ever. 1000 century breaks...15 perfect 147’s.

Good player...but I don't like his open-hand bridge.

By design.
Different game, different technique.
If you want the long answer I can do that.

Comparing snooker to pool is similar to chess versus checkers.

LOL, even I knew that and I haven't seen snooker since I left NATO.
Even then Ronnie was the man, cool to see he is still one of the best.
