Saratoga Sunday

race 1:

GET GORGEOUS has already won at this level and comes here after a good comeback race against open 20k claimers. Good tactical speed, and should get the distance (her mother won at 9f)

race 2:

TIN TYPE GAL is regally bred and wasn't expected in her sloppy dirt debut. She's the best of the paddock and should improve today.

CRYSTAL WAVE showed good turn of foot, today she should be tighter and quicker.

1st ($16.60 - 5.80 - 5.30)

race 3:

WELL LAWYERED has back class (won MSW in Santa Anita) and good back figures (86-85) that could mean his last race 90 Beyer is for real and that he's recovered his best form. CaN rise in class with success.

race 4: very tough

JACK O LIAM: may be the speed of the speed; has won over a mile, mile and 1/16 and over 6f: stamina. Shows the best figures, could survive the other speed and the help up horses.

Combat Diver is the late threat dropping many steps of the class ladder.

1st ($5.40 - 3.50 - 2.70)

race 5:

REGULUS is 2 for 3 in straight claimers (50k) since claimed for Rudy Rodriguez. With the business already done (bought for 40k) he can afford the drop to 25.000 for a big Saratoga purse. Will have a good trip inside, just behind the leaders.

race 6:

GRAND SKY: closed big time sprinting in Santa Anita of a terrible pace (21.00 > 43.1...), good second race again against open company in Kentucky. Now gelded dropping a ton from open to NYbred.

MOHICAN CHIEF is a Chad Brown.

Pop the Hood has nice turf router pedigree, lost nothing in defeat sprintig on dirt.

Bugle Blues is style versatile can complete the exacta.

4th 3rd 1st NP

race 7:

BEDFORD LAND was impressive in her debut. The Speightstwon progenie are killers on the green and Mark Casse shows a strong 27% second after more than 6 month layoffs.

Magnificent Margo: trainer good first time in the barn, and best run here.

Diva Express: much improved first time turf sprint.

Orient Harbor: closer for the exacta

race 8:

BLUSHING HUMOR is by a good first start sire, from a dangerous barn, and clearly best of the paddock.

FELINI is a very well bred filly from a red hot barn good with firsters

race 9:

CUPPA JOE last time stalked a hot pace (23.00 > 46.3) and drew away easily. Here he'll get the pace and could rise in class nicely.

COUNTRYMAN best races are closing of a fast pace.

MACAGONE: back with Lezcano (relaxed pace) can steal it again.

exacta box

race 10:

FAST ANA will knock A. P. Indian with his row speed. CATRON could be the late danger, back on the track after a forgettable run. Stalking dude has lost punch, too much racing maybe.

race 11:

Stroll On Down: by a 16% first turf sire, 3 of 4 siblings won on turf.
Tino: experienced and with a decent 61 Beyer first time turf (the par time is 65). Drops to Md claimer.
Pine Ridge Forest: speedy in his debut, bet down today dropping to Mdclaimers
Secret Scholar: 70-1 in his debut one month ago, today 5-1...

exacta box

I needed this one!!!!!!
