I much enjoyed his work of late in the duets.

I was never a fan of his phrasing……but this guy sure was a stayer…..96 almost 97.

My dad saw him sing for the first time in public in a small piano bar in Astoria Queens. Said Tony was like 18, always fussing with his hands looking uncomfortable when he approached the piano. Pop said once he opened his mouth to sing his demeanor changed, the whole place grew silent and he was awesome. The rest is history.

Some of our great singers --including Mr. S., Frank Sinatra-- have said Tony Bennett was their favorite singer.
RIP, Tony Bennett

I believe he was recently diagnosed with altimeters, he got out still knowing his name and game.
