Advertisers Flee Right Wing Radio
Premiere Networks is circulating a list of 98 radio advertisers who want to avoid "environments likely to stir negative sentiments... They've specifically asked that you schedule their commercials in dayparts or programs free of content that you know are deemed to be offensive or controversial (for example, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Tom Leykis, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity)."
John Avlon notes "the irony is that the same market forces that right-wing talk-radio hosts champion are helping to seal their fate. Advertisers are abandoning the shows because they no longer want to be associated with the hyperpartisan -- and occasionally hateful -- rhetoric. They are finally drawing a line because consumers are starting to take a stand."

Mark Levin?
Man you guys think we'll believe anything, don't you?
I've never seen anyone (right or left) post something highly offensive that Mark Levin has said on his show. Care to provide an example?

I rarely listen or watch Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh, Tom Leykis, Michael Savage, Glenn Beck, or Sean Hannity.
Knowing these guys for what they are ain't rocket science. Suffice it to say, the bloom is off rightwing talk radio. At least according to advertisers.

If you are referring to a sudden increase in hot air associated with rightwing Talk Radio, yes that is correct.

Are you sure GW is not caused by the heat that was generated when Air America crashed and burned?

The listening public is fickle. Right wing Talk radio has been a staple for mindless background noise for years. Most left wing mindless listening does not fit in to the sensationalistic conspiracies under every bed that years of righties have perfected as a science to attract mindless listeners. Sort of like aural rubbernecking as a mindless audience performs usually mindless activities, and stops to gawk at the only interesting things in the course of their mindless routine work-a-day existence.
Why would Air America attract the mindless numbers required to produce mindless ratings?
OBVIOUSLY lefties have a much superior mindless existence.

I like to think it is because most lefties are not smart enough to find the stations day after day.

I suspect most righties do find those stations because the are on the lower end of the AM bandwidth dial, and because righties can't count much past the total number of their fingers and toes, have a much easier time finding low numbered stations.
That is at least assuming they are not wearing gloves or socks, to impede and confuse them
Of course on cold days their counting limit and abilities approach that of their normal IQ levels

Gw is still a rutabaga, and Rush is a fat rutabaga. A vegetable by any other name would still boil as sweet

I thought minimalist postings would be a refreshing change of pace. Didn't think factual content was as important as snappiness. You guys follow that tact frequently.
A few charts maybe?
