I hope doubters will stop questioning her competition. Australian turf racing is probably equal to or better than US turf racing. She is dominating in a way that screams all time greatness.

If she needs to accelerate to an other worldly level to get up, she does it and goes out with plenty left in the tank.

If she has good position and takes over early you can see she has gears the rider is not using.

If she's wide she coasts up the leaders and gets to them easily without even be asked.

She's so massively better than these horses it's a mockery.

There's no doubt in my mind that if you put her up against the greatest turf horses in the world she'd win more than her fair share. She'd probably get beat here or there like they all do, but she deserves this legendary status. You don't make a mockery of very good horses 29 times in a row without being very special.

Here's the link to the replay. The more I watch it the more I am amazed by her great performance.
Words are not enough to describe it's greatness.

This line from the article is really apt

"She makes winning seem routine, almost run-of-the-mill, and there’s a risk of it being taken for granted. But we should never forget we are in the presence of extremely rare greatness."

Nice run Winx

I'm such a sap I kinda start crying when I see the owners get teary eyed. It's just a great thing to witness, even from a computer screen. What a marvel of an animal. She just has this will to win that is something otherworldly. Winx, she's a totem.

The greatness of this mare is unbelievable. 29 in a row, 22 Group 1s?

Agree with everything you said.

Kudos to the connections, too......this is what "perfect management" looks like.

......and what lasix-free-on-raceday horses can look like w/out electrolyte-altering and alkalinizing. (She has quite often raced on less than 3 weeks rest if you look at her record.)

When I see Street Cry daughters like Zenyatta and Winx I do sit up a little.

And the Valley roars. Great call and what a crowd! Been lucky enough to attend a couple of sporting events in Australia and those folks can cheer.
