Best Bet for Thursday

Dayton R6.....#5 Ahdoughnolum-10/1 ....Ater, Kyle
HORSES & GELDINGS CLAIMING $12,500 W/ALLOWANCES
JY.SMITH LISTED 3,6 D.NOBLE LISTED 8,9

Horse, whose name I cannot pronouce, got caught in a break-neck quarter (25-4) on first start after claim.
Next start drew bad still finished 4 L back. Kyle consistantly in top 5 drivers here and post 5 is the sweet spot.

Last year Dayton was my best ROI track, hope it continues....

Key Box Exacta...5/8,1,4

BTW
Anybody familiar with this site? (deadheat.ca)
https://deadheat.ca/horse?name=Ahdoughnolum&type=h

Seems to be free.

Ray,
Despite his success Kyle Ater has cost me a ton of money. He does have some top horses, and frequently has two head in the upper ranks. (Generally Barker drives the other).

Generally, Ater sits in too long and simply waits for holes to open up. Not the best move when two of the Southern Ohio tracks are absent passing lanes.

Don
SVM Regression to Predict Harness Races was the method Robert P. Schumaker used to develop the Northfield bot.
I think it's still in operation.

Apparently Dominic Plouffee (github and deadheat) is using SVM also.

Thanks for the link, it will take some time to digest.

Ray,
He's cost me a bunch, even when I've merely included him for in-the-money exotics.
Forget about catch drives, does best with his own stock.

He has a couple in tonight that look decent but . . . .
