Take a look at the ride on the 2 the last 150 yards to the wire. Thoughts?

to me it looked like a tampa jock totally misjudging the finish line in his first mount there. must be a result of the two different finish lines. looked like he realized it after he stopped riding and looked to make sure he didnt cost himself third placing.

IMO, Ortiz simply KNEW, he could NOT catch the winner. I will play this horse back ( same conditions). The bigger question might be, why ORTIZ kept this horse inside approaching the turn.

it appeared to me the 2 got "pinned" behind 2 other horses, then went wide but the leader was too far in front to catch
