FCC also didn't claim 1 horse from Catalano but did from 28 of the trainers at Arlington.
I think Catalano said he was through with the claiming side of the business and lost one or two (small) clients because he wasn't interested in that anymore. He certainly focused a lot on the 2 year olds nearing the end of the meet. Quick search through the meet-end claim register I don't see him claiming any at AP at all.

He is done claiming in the lower levels. Not only has his stable changed but he also has his side farm business with the 'tank' that he has there, and didn't want to piss off anyone sending horses out there.

Mason's main owner is also a big fan of the 'tank'

The nice Reavis 2YO filly Wonderlandbynight is entered in the Darley 2YO stake going at Keeneland on Friday. Haven't seen the PPs but doesn't look like the strongest of field/names so this one could take it again.

Catalano has a bunch entered opening day at KEE.

Reavis doing well at Woodbine

i think he is 4 for 8 at the venue - trainers have to b careful cuz there is a low tolerance for the high % types ay Wdb

Gets the 2 turn test and Reavis put two 1 mile drills into her. Like I told you guys earlier Dini was just beaming about this horse the day of the Lassie when he said ET told him at Woodbine that the longer this filly goes the more impressive she will be. Wickedly Perfect ships in off a clear 2nd to Tell a Kelly at Del Mar and goes 2 turns for the first time also. A couple of horses step up right out of MSW wins. It would be nice to see the Lassie winner go down there and take it. It will be interesting if she does win, if they supplement to the BC.

I like to see Wonder 'come through for Mike at Keeneland friday. The next move would be interesting...sell her or supplement. Who knows how she'll take to dirt.

Anyone else really impressed with Redding Colliery's performance in the Hawthorne Gold Cup? A huge effort-maybe too big-but will have 4 weeks until BC mile. Found it interesting that neither Kiaren, his brother, nor any assistant accompanied the horse to Hawthorne. The instructions to Napravnik were (from back east)- Hawthorne always speed favoring, send him,let him run. They couldn't have been more wrong about the track and how it played opening weekend.
