Animal Kingdom – Has been a very consistent performer, but losing the Preakness in a pedestrian 1:56 and change says to me that he might be tailing off a bit.

Mucho Macho Man – He will get the distance and should kick in late, but he appears to be more of a “bridesmaid” than a “bride.”

What about Shackleford? He could be another Bold Forbes, but I don’t believe it. However Isn’t He Perfect might run big if the track comes up sloppy
How is Mucho Macho Man more of a Bridesmaid than Nehro?

I didn’t post that Nehro was less of a “bridesmaid” than Mucho Macho Man; that is your incorrect inference.

What I posted singularly was that Mucho Macho Man appears to be more of a “bridesmaid” than a “bride.”

If you want to deduce a comparative from what I posted; be my guest

Talking shack does his secretariat impression?

I am gonna do a fools folly and say he runs away with it and AK does a Sham trying to stay with him.
Or they smoke each other and some trash like Prime cut picks up the pieces.

Sativa worries me too.

I believe AK got a bump from the 7 and lost one of his irons at the start. Not sure though, haven't watched the replay.

I like Nehro in the second spot as I don't think AK, MOH, or BS have any tactical speed whatsoever and that the Derby will be proven to be an aberration by the performances of those three who I like for the third spot.
hahahaha hit the fence.....

Nice dopin'. Shame you didn't walk away with a heavy wallet.

Thanks, I feel very strange. I spent a lot of time trying to handicap the Derby, put $150 in my account lost some of it before the race and then bet the rest on it and lost. I spent half as much time on this race and didn't bet a dime. I know from experience you can't take this game personally (like the racing Gods are out to get you) but sometimes it's hard not to. Hope someone else hit something anyway.
