Why would BO criticize one of his own?

We are talking about a game called hardball that is played in political arena.
The differences the honorable Senator John Mccain had with our President were not about the Political hardball left over. I believe it was more about vision for the country was different. The good Senator John Mccain was more establishment and of a globalist viewpoint. I am not taking anything away from an honorable 80+ politician, but just how I see it.
In another post about Senator John Mccain's recount of events by Boxcar I will suggest the following:
Someone else who knows what I am describing please chime in with some added intent here. You get involved in a shooting or a bomb or some explosives near you go off without hurting you and your personal sensory goes into another mode like shock or something. With 3 different people similarly affected more than one version will given by those affected, to which a investigator would not discount any version.
I do not doubt Senator John Mccain's version period.
I think that there is room to be honest and coexist without bullshit.

Yes, but did he deserve to receive 'The Silver Star' for that?
A Vietnam veteran whom I know and who was the recipient of the third-highest "personal decoration for valor in combat" says: "No!"
I agree with most who feel that McCain's military service deserves our respect, admiration and thanks; however, I also agree with those who feel that his latter-years', especially, political stances, both professionally and personally, makes it very difficult for one to want to join in on the love fest.
If I were in Trump's position, I would be fighting with myself as to how to deal with expressions of sympathy, as well.
John McCain

Politically I haven't really been on board with McCain since the Keating savings and loan. However I truly respect his service to our country and the fact both sides of the aisle have talked highly of him. Pretty rare these days. He may be the last because of the cesspool politics has become. The swamp does need draining. I'm just not sure a Republican or Democrat can do it. RIP Sen McCain.

McCain was no hero. He was a megalomaniac who always showed up at the critical moment to stab his own team in the back.

Don't know if I'd go that far. The term "hero" seems to be a lot more loosely defined now then 70 or 100 years ago. I never read a lot about McCain or his military service. Never understood how being captured had anything to do with being a hero. Was his combat performance far more outstanding than the average soldier? I always thought of real heroes as an extremely rare breed of people.

Benedict Arnold served in the military. If just being in the military is all that is required, that would make him a hero too.

Hillary, Barry, et al praising his bi-partisanship is an absolute hoot. I thought that term was foreign to them.

Criticisms of an opponent in a presidential campaign precludes praise 10 years later of that opponent's life and service upon his death?
What an embarrassing joke.. do better "LifeZette"

Aretha Franklin's thread got 22 posts, by any measure that lady's body of work was much more inspiring and in the real world crossed over all ideology's. Yet in this thread more posts of who is a hero and who is not. Simply pathetic.
