WESTERN FAIR 3/19

Going along with Ray's last post in his "Top Gate Drivers" thread, I am making an effort to predict the 1/4 pole leaders tonight as well as track their results on $2 W/P/S wagers 3-1 or better at 0 minutes.

My method was to calculate the average sum of the 1/4 and 3/4 split for each horse when at a post somewhere near tonight's (barring any breaks in stride along the way.)

I will post 3 selections for each race.

RACE 1- 6-4-3
RACE 2- 2-6-5
RACE 3- 2-5-6
RACE 4- 5-8-4
RACE 5- 3-5-4
RACE 6- 5-2-6
RACE 7- 2-5-1
RACE 8- 6-1-7
RACE 9- 5-6-8
RACE 10- 5-8-7

That's an interesting factor, Coach, GL

So far my approach is to use
1. net gain in call difference,.. post to 1/4 pole (modified post for trailers) all usable pplines for all entries.
2. Driver style as posted in other thread.
3. Track bias for leavers also in other thread but Track specific.
4. Number of likely horses to try for top, predicting pace of race.
Exactly how to express the numbers and give them proper predictive weights is a challenge.

Tonight's a Hockey night for me so I'll check your posts occasionally. GO PENS

Wish I had a robot I had to enter this data into excel and let the formulas do the math.

I was actually seeing if I could find leader or within contending lengths at 3/4.
