Those were great times for California.

Now?

Leaders investing people's tax dollars in a completely failed $80-$90 Billion project that is a high speed train system that will never come to completion (and they know it), but they are still building a part of it for whoever ****ing knows what reason? Hell, why not? We're California and we are good at spending a shit ton of money for no reason

That is exactly what they do best.

We have San Francisco that has an APP that if you snap a picture of human feces on the sidewalk or street, there will be a service that will come and pick it up. Hell with all the drugs, homeless, and needles, we have to worry about shit on the sidewalk as being more important.

California, the former #5 economy on the planet, is now 6th, and will keep dropping. May be bankrupt within the next 5 to 10 years.

Good point......I was thinking something like just the House, but a 60% majority needed on ALL bills - force bi-partisanship, but that assume honorable people in the House, and I don't see that happening any time soon. I guess that would require term limits.

All by a 9 point difference, or more, in popular vote across the country. Shocking that the 80s are still remembered as some of the greatest times in American history.
The turning point!
