Two things:

1. Re-size those graphs - way too big
2. Why do you suppose that, if there really are are those great green jobs out there, Obama, in spite of the fact that the Bush people rejected Solyndra, and hi sown people strongly advised against tie, chose to risk all tht tax payer money when there were so many GOOD investment opportunities out there? Why did Obama refuse to allow due diligence be completed, the VERY THING HE CONDEMNS THE BANKS FOR DOING?

hcap's diversionary tactics are so obvious. Don't buy in.

hcap is doing what he/she does best, trying to divert discussion away from the present by finger pointing to the past.
Uh, uh.
The subject is Solyndra (not Haliburton or any other company).
In less than 3 years Solyndra made $528 million disappear.
That money was from the taxpayers.
1100 employees are out of work.
The Chief Executives are pleading "The Fifth."
The White House is involved in this up to their eyelids.

(Other "green jobs" have been created at the cost of over $3 million per job. Go figure. It's a scam.)

And, GF, all this is TONS more than anyone ever had on the Bush team.
All hcap ever had was dreams of a perp walk, unsubstantiated by anything other then DNC lies.

I almost feel sorry for him.

Plus the vast majority of that "clean economy" stuff is already existing, not new "green jobs". No one objects if a job is green -- but the liberals insist that we need to invest in these green jobs (meaning the government must subsidize). In other words, we must throw money at things that private investors won't touch with a ten-foot pole because they are bad investments. And so they predictably fail.

Solyndra is an especially illustrative example of the toxicity of government money because they actually *did* have some private investment prior the government getting involved. But the government essentially forced them to build a new factory they didn't need even though they had no orders, and since the government is always first in line in case of default, no new money could be raised from any other source when they realized that no orders would be forthcoming even after they built it. The original investors are blaming the failure on the government loan. (Obviously the Solyndra management is not innocent here either, as they apparently bought into the green fantasy that if you make lots of "green stuff", suddenly a demand for that stuff will magically appear. Also they saw all those $$$$.)

Ten year anniversary of $535 million loan guarantee to Solyndra, because loan deemed too risky for commercial loans.

These shovel ready job loans gave the illusion solar energy is cost effective. With these pioneering efforts and others, Chinese companies have now made the technology much closer to cost effective. The shovel ready jobs have turned into installation and repair jobs, which are still good jobs.

Running commercial project's in the Bay area. I have had, and still have, sub contractors working for me. that had involvement on the Solyndra building. Everyone states that the project was never managed to open. It was managed to get it to the "Shell" state. Unions made out, tradesmen worked. and someone received a whole lot of money.
