I'll never understand why Trump didn't order all official Federal government Twitter accounts be moved to Parler and/or Gab the first time, or certainly the second time, that Dorsey/Twitter put a block or disclaimer on his tweets. He's the POTUS, he didn't need Twitter, everyone would have followed him to Parler/Gab . . . perhaps Jared/Ivanka own a blind stake in Twitter.

You nailed it perfectly. This whack-a-doodle airhead is quite obviously anti-capitalism. He doesn't like the fact that under the free market system of capitalism, people are free to leave or quit buying any product or service they no longer like, such as FB, TweetTweet, etc. Instead, he doesn't want anyone jeopardizing mainstream social media, which actually is quite a peculiar attitude since these whining pinko-commies believe that virtually everyone in this country thinks like they do -- that they're in the huge majority. If this is the case, why would he be so concerned about an "upstart" venture like Parler? In his universe, Parler is doomed to fail, isn't it?

The left says censors those on the right. However, when the right leaves the censorship, the left gets mad. I thought by censoring, the left was trying to get the right to leave. Seems the left didn't want the right to leave, they just wanted the right to sit quietly and stay put!!!
All I can tell the left is be careful what you ask for......you just may get it .
Seems twitter and FB have lost a lot of luster and patrons over the last few weeks.

The left's next move will be to classify Parler as a place where all the racists, alt-right, and violent right wing extremists hang out. They'll do that to slow its momentum and discredit it.
I just opened a Parler account to see what all the hoopla was about. I'd say its not quite ready for prime time, but there are quite a few mainstream republican posters there. So if you are just interested in politics, it's OK. If your interests extend to other areas (like sports, investing, entertainment etc.. ) there's not much content yet.
