How do you drain the swamp if you ignore it?
Looking up the rule for use of campaign money, I see a shell game for fleecing the public. Rules are far too loose. I disagree with over half the legitimate reasons. And I want to see strict accounting for every dollar spent - that means receipts, dates, reasons, etc. The system is set up to maximize misuse of the money.
Trump is free to pay off anyone he wants to with his own funds.
But he is not allowed to touch $1 of contributions for his personal use.

We agree on THIS 100%...would love to see congress half empty the NEXT day...

Trump-- as a certified billionaire has more than a few dollar bills lying around.
Don't let the fact you live in New York color your judgement.
"has it even been proven that Stormy ever got any money?"
She owes money at this point. What happened to you?

This is the attitude that created the swamp. It is a charge that needs to be investigated and dealt with if needed.
Trust and support, but verify!

Trump paid for quite a bit of it, not sure how much. Saying Trump somehow got illegal money to get elected is laughable and only proves how desperate the Left is.
It's like me honking my horn at some girl on the street.
I'm running out of ideas but that's the best I could come up with!

Lord have mercy, have you hit the nail on the head there...
All these smug assholes have women on the side...
Even war hero Bob Dole who got so much praise for standing in his wheelchair to salute fellow horndog and elderly ass pincher GHWB...I heard stories of him back in the day in the Watergate hotel...from someone who lived there at the time...he had his fair share of chicks on the side...that's for sure...

Read my lips.
If he took money from the campaign contributions, it doesn't make any difference WHO contributed it. Once it has been contributed, it is NO LONGER his money - it is a specific pool of money with legal restrictions on how it can be used.
And NO, he did not pay 100% of his campaign. He accepted donations.

No, he hit his thumb.
"If he paid off Stormy FROM CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS."
He can buy all the women he wants with his own money.
Nothing illegal about that at all.

My understanding is he paid for his campaign with his own dollars up to a certain point then took some additional money. Now does anybody know if this happened before he took money that was above and beyond his own? Does anybody know for sure that while he was footing the bill himself, he actually put together some special account just for that. Because I'm not so sure that would be the case. I predict there is a 99.9% chance this will just melt away once people get the brass tacks of it all. If you can't impeach a sitting president that did this while in office and admitted to it you sure as hell aren't going to do it to a president that hasn't admitted to doing it before he took office. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe in order to impeach a president it has to be for something that happened during his presidency. At least that's what I've heard numerous so called constitutional scholars claim.

Let me simplify it for you.
I start making a salad with tomatoes and lettuce.
You decide to throw in some tomatoes and lettuce into the bowl too.
We mix it up.
Then I pull a lettuce leaf out of the salad to taste it.
Was that the leaf I put in or the one you put in?
Trump put money into his own campaign.
You put money into his campaign.
One big pot.
If he pulls money out, how do you know if it was your contribution or not?
Therein lies the problem and his defense.

your assuming he actually put his money in a specific bank account for the campaign and took that money out to pay the bimbo. Any proof of that?
