Indictments in Planned Parenthood case.

Sorry folks, it isn't what you think. A Harris County, Texas grand jury investigating Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast on charges of selling fetal tissue for profit, found no wrong doing by the group. However, they did indict two individuals.

David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt were indicted for tampering with a governmental record, a second-degree felony, and Daleiden was also indicted on the count of prohibition of the purchase and sale of human organs, a class A misdemeanor, according to the Harris County district attorney.

Daleiden and Merritt-in case you don't know-are not affiliated with Planned Parenthood. Quite the oppposite, they are officials of The Center For Medical Progress, the anti abortion group which doctored videos of meetings with Officials of Planned Parenthood.

More at:http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/25/politi...ists-indicted/

Another case of the BIG LIE by conservatives.

Big lie? I guess you're one who doesn't believe what you see with your own eyes if it disagrees with your politics?

We saw PP talk of selling fetal tissue. Period. No one, including this grand jury, can tell me what I saw didn't happen.

The indictment itself says PP is guilty. The indict this group for buying the tissue from PP - which means PP sold the tissue.

I heard that they got indicted for using fraudulent California drivers' licenses in order to expose what Planned Parenthood was doing and they weren't accredited journalists. So basically, if you are an accredited journalist trying to expose crimes you can do something like that, but if you aren't you've broken some law. This is a case of the nonsensical part of the story being used to cover up the story that really matters.

So you're saying that CNN made this all up? That there were no indictments? Come on; that is weak even for you. You can find the same story on MSNBC, ABC News, Yahoo, Fox News and even infowars.

Videos can be edited because of time restraints or for clarity without changing the meaning. Videos are doctored to change the meaning. These videos were doctored.

You did not see that. You saw PP talk about providing fetal tissue for which they were paid an amount equal to their costs for storage, shipping and preservation. That is not illegal.

The indictment itself says PP is guilty. The indict this group for buying the tissue from PP - which means PP sold the tissue.
Wrong again. David Deleidin was not indicted for buying the tissue. He was indicted for offering to buy it and he clearly offered to pay much more than the costs of storing, shipping and preserving. The Grand Jury heard this on the tapes that Centers for Medical Progress made and obviously, they did not hear PP agree to the sale on those terms.

Wrong again. He was indicted for using a fake ID of a state issued card.

That is from the CNN story I linked above. That is not real clear, but several other stories I read indicate that Deleiden was indicted because he offered to pay PP amounts far in excess of their costs.

Think of it this way. Something I say on this forum aggravates you. (I know, ridiculous, when have I ever aggravated anyone?) Anyway, you contact someone to have me killed. The person you contact turns out to be an undercover member of law enforcement. I am never killed; the person you contacted to kill me had no intention of doing so; yet you are going to jail.

Of course I know davew would never do such a thing. There are others I am not so sure about.
