A Gnat has More Business Sense Than Joe Dementia

Biden reportedly planning largest tax hike in almost 30 years

But the sources said the planned changes are not designed to fund only the key priorities of the administration. With the tax hike, Biden's team hopes to address what Democrats argue are "inequities in the tax system itself." According to the Bloomberg report, the changes include:

Raising the corporate tax rate to 28% from 21%
Paring back tax preferences for so-called pass-through businesses, such as limited liability companies or partnerships
Raising the income tax rate on individuals earning more than $400,000
Expanding the estate tax's reach
A higher capital gains tax rate for individuals earning at least $1 million annually

This idiot we have for president must believe that corporations are charities and that they're simply going to absorb the 7% increase and not pass it on to consumers who are always at the bottom of the tax chain. If this gets passed, we'll experience inflation in this country as never before, and it will also drive many small business out of business.

When Trump lowered the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21% all the corporations immediately lowered their prices by 14%. Oh, wait a minute. They didn’t. Lucky for us, because now they can absorb the 7% increase and still make plenty of money

oh wait, they stopped moving their headquarters to other countries to pay less taxes. They reinvested in United States and hired more local workers.

But a few years of Biden will fix all that.

Did you have a point to make? One premise doesn't follow the other. And, no, corporations are prone to greediness. Since, according to you, they've been making obscene profits for years now, you think they're just going to give that up!? Are you this naive? They will not! Most of them will pass this hike on to the consumer, including the black, brown, red, yellow, whatever color of low-income consumer. In essence, this tax hike would be a tax on middle class and the poor! In fact, this will hurt the poor the most, which is what the dimwits want to do in order to create a permanent, dependent underclass -- who will always vote for the party giving free handouts.

They could care less about the middle and lower class, our Liberal friends are just looking for a way to punish the ones who have. The Party of Envy, vote for us because we are going to stick it to the rich and that will make you feel good.

Actually, I think they're more interested in creating a permanent underclass. It's all about "buying" votes with the promise of handouts when more and more people fall into the poverty zone, due to dimwits' taxation policy, and can no longer survive on their own. A tax on corporations is merely a facade since the corporations will pass that tax on to all consumers, regardless of income. Ultimately, a tax on corporations is a tax on everyone living in this country. Everyone!
