I agree. Trump exposed the GOP as weak stupid sellouts in the 2015-2016 campaign and election. That is why all the establishment losers tried to circumvent the primary results and later the nominating process.
Do you think for a second any Republican but Trump would have beaten Hillary Clinton? Not a single one would have won over her.
The GOP was dying before Trump ran and has since committed suicide by not standing with him during his 4 years in office and ESPECIALLY now after the stolen election in November.

The only Republican politicians who had the balls to stand up to Trump were vilified by the Republican masses. Seeing this...how can you blame the rest of the Republican congressmen/women for kissing up to Trump at every turn? It's called "survival"...and it's mankind's most basic instinct. And if the ass-kissing Republican politicians jump ship now...their hypocrisy would be too obvious for their liking. The classic "lose/lose" situation...IMO.
Bottom line: In a "free society"...the people get the government that they deserve.

Great point. Which is exactly what Trump is calculating when he runs as an independent. He will continue his rallies throughout to keep his base energized and believing and run as an independent.
Who will he have to beat in the next election?
Mcconnell republicans if there are any left?
A progressive democratic party which most of the country are against?
Who knows, after a couple of years he once again may be the lesser of all evils....Once again!
Trump knows exactly what he is doing.

I can't wait to see what the democrats get done in next couple years.
It is true there are some swamp R's that are against the newer R's.
But this is doubly true for the D's, the ultra vocal far left are making a lot of noise, but they are not the majority of the D's.
