There is no "our"

Rex Tillerson made the right move
he dumped out of his Exon Mobil stock in the high 90's. its trading today at $67, $10 away from its 2008 lows. by comparison, Chevron is trading $60 above the 2008 lows.

Gold options
some guy stepped up to the plate and spent $1.75 million on long calls for gold with a strike price of $4000 for june of 2021.
i am a gold bull and can only see it going up to $2700 right now. this guy is $1300 from my price projection.

yes, but if they hold all contracts until June 2021, everything above $4003.50 is pure profit baby. Who knows, maybe there will be spike before then and they will be able to sell some contracts for more than $3.50 / oz. purchase price.

that is one great play if i ever saw one!
if you turn back the clock to the end of last year the markets were tanking everyday on no volume, this year it has been melting up with less volume than last year. you have a great shot to see close to your $25 number.

If you don't mind. What's your reasoning for that trade.

Nothing very technical. Just a bet on a 24-1 shot that may work, somewhat, if the market were to sell off.
If the price gets to 307 early, I could get out with 200%, understanding that I could also end up “ripping up the ticket.”
For serious “bets” I never buy an option with more than two days to expiration.
