It's not "again" -- it's STILL because the bar has always been set somewhere in the pit of hell.

I take a simple approach to the major religions of the world. I put this out there not to convince any one of the correctess of my opinion but as a perspective to consider, nothing more.
In life there is the present moment, the past and the future.
In the present moment, I think of Judasim, for the future, I think of Christianity and for the past, Islam.
Islam seems to be stuck in the past, attempting to prevent any progression beyond the current state of affairs and maintaining a patriarchal society.
If the world was completely dominated by Islam, do you think man would have ever stepped on the surface of the moon? I don't think so.

Set foot on the moon?We never would have gotten off of the ground.Had Islam been able to completely dominate all of Eurasia in their wars of conquest from the 7th to the 15th centuries there never would have been a USA.On what is now North America the dominent powers would likely still be the Aztec Empire in southern Mexico and the Iroquois Confederacy in the present day eastern America.

"CHRISTIAN" Knights of the Ku Klux Klan......
"CHRISTIANS" who gave blankets with small pox in them to Native Americans....
.....it can go on and on, too numerous to name throughout the centuries.....
The majority of the planet do not follow the religions as they were presented, they USE the name of the religion and the name of their prophets only, and create their own sect or flavor of what they believe, using parts they like , and discarding the rest, which is creating a totally different religion, in reality its not even a sect, regardless of what Webster says it means.
Remember , if you are following Jesus, then do what Jesus said, NOT what "others" said he said or what they attribute him to say or mean.
......and since their is nowhere in the Gospels where Jesus EVER said or called himself or his followers "CHRISTIANS".........
.....and since whoever created that phrase, that's who those who call themselves "CHRISTIANS" follow....
If there is a pit of hell, "CHRISTIANS" are gonna be there first.

Phooey !...Being a "Christian" is a "way of life" not a "religion"....It is man that made up all of the Hoopla about being this or that.....Religion is what is wrong with religion......Living by the "Word" of GOD is all that matters......This is clear and is amply spelled out in the Bible....
best,

Religion is what you practice , not what you preach.
If someone goes to church, sings songs, read the Bible, listen to the preacher, gives to the pulpit, then goes out to kill more Native Americans in cold blood in the name of Jesus, that someones religion is HYPOCRICY, not christianity, so go read the book and see what is says about hypocrites.

Yes...It is all or nothing.....So many people have gotten glimplses and one-liners from the Bible, and often they think that they can accept or reject any or all of it, but one must understand that in each chapter and verse there is a message and rules that must be obeyed....A teacher without a full "scholarly" ( without using the greek, hebrew, and aramaic manuscripts as proofs for correct translation and trans-literation) based approach often will corrupt much of what the intent is for each chapter of the Good-Book...
People go to church, get one or two lines of the bible, and then a good half hour or so of comment and lecturing, and wonder why they don't understand what God intended for us to know....AT the rate of two verses a week, it would take about 700 years to come to know what the "real" meaning of what God wants us to know is.... This is one of 3-earth ages, and is the one of the test, to see who will serve what master he will...
As for people doing dastardly deeds in the name of Christianity, well, obviously they are not familiar and are not in sync with what God is really trying to tell us, and they are no better than Satan himself who was a very high ranking angel who thought that his power was as good as the one who gave him his power in the first place......Any person who covets, money, fame or power or any other "Vanity" is surely not a practicing Christian, and serves another Master and "will" be judged accordingly when the time has come....
Satan is an expert on "religion" and he uses it to his advantage ( he wants to be worshipped by us) by keeping people from living the life that God intended for us to live and this is clearly spelled out in the Bible...That is why their seems to so much confusion, division and unrest in "all" of the churches and cults....Denomination means division, and that is where Satan would have us....They just haven't come to know God's true intentions for us all, so they make up all these ceremonies and practices that have nothing to do with "true" worship of the One True God....
best,

Just like you shouldn't let your formal schooling get in the way of your education, you shouldn't let your religion get in the way of spirituality. Or, what some might call, Enlightenment.

Without going off on too much of a tangent (since the thread is about Islam) I have to say Im annoyed with your depiction of Christianity and it's historic relation to the Native American.
Like the Red man has never raped, killed, butchered, slaughtered, stolen before. What truly bothers me today is how many minorities feel it's ok too keep harboring the past. This in my opinion is done for one purpose only.
Financial gain.
The American Indian has probably contributed LESS to this society than all cultures put together, yet, they continue to fight for "rights" on a federal level, all in the name of ancestors hundreds of years ago.
Using this mindset, the family that can trace it's historical tree back furthest on the planet, can legally and morally claim land ownership.
Since I can trace my family roots back 1 billion years in Moscow, I demand Putin allow me to open Casinos (tax free of course) in Red Square.
Let me put it like this : History shows that stonger civilizations conquer and strive over weaker ones. The American Indian should be grateful they've been GIVEN, yes GIVEN, a free reign in a GUARANTEED cash cow business... Gambling.
I also ask where the American Indian would be had Hitler won WW2?
Think they'd be fighting in the German courts for their "sovereign land".
One of these days the Fed and the courts will reverse these awards and force the American Indian to truly assimilate into American society.
Until then..shut the F up.
