How did this horse's name get approved
I saw a horse running the other night at Evangeline Downs named "Candy Sass" !
I didn't really notice it when I was handicapping, but when I heard the racecaller say it....it was funny!

It never ceases to amze me. My favorite "slip through" was Muffie's Diver. One other that ran in Maryland slipped in with the horriblly politically incorrect "Cake Cake Cake" otherwise know during the race call as KKK.....
The Jockey Club must really be a bunch of goofs when it comes to that.

MY favorites were the Chingaso horses of the early '90s. Apparently nobody at the Jockey Club spoke Spanish.

I suppose with 10s of thousands of names applied for every year, there's bound to be a few that sneak through.

Let Him Out
Mike Pegram had a horse named Let Him Out denied by the jockey club. Why? He was a son of Unzipped.

I got one by them once:
Abolish It.
Unfortunately, the horse ran to her name.
