Name something GOOD that came out of this whole Coronavirus Tragedy...:)
Praise has been shifted largely from Celebrities to Health Care Personnel(Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Candy Strippers, (Candy Strippers are Volunteers in The Health Care Industry), First Responders, Firefighters, etc. Even non Medical Workers such as fast food workers and Retail Workers have been given praise. In this Coronavirus Fiasco. Before the CV, no one was giving these Workers the Praise they truly deserve.

Number one, no one should be praising people whose only skill is acting. It's not praiseworthy. Neither are athletes. Number two, praise for all the groups you listed is fleeting and will end once the worst passes. As an example, I give you 9/11. Are the cops of NYC revered today after being revered following that catastrophe?
I'll leave my praise for those volunteering their time to make the world a better place. Very few within those groups you listed volunteered. In fact, one group (medical) was well paid to work while the other group (retail/food) was sent to the unemployment line for being non essential. I don't think either group deserves praise. Doing what is required of you is not praiseworthy by definition.
Nothing good came from all this. Not a thing. We slipped closer to big govt controlling our lives, and found out how power hungry the ruling class really is. To compound all that, I also found out that a significant portion of the population welcomes a nanny state and wishes to have someone else control their lives.

I got 15% off my car insurance, saving about 300 dollars. I assumed that car accidents would go down, which they did, but what's odd is that the fatality rate per crash went UP. The total number of fatalities still went down but the theory is with fewer cars on the road, people were driving faster and more recklessly thus leading to a higher death rate per accident.

The stock market going down was good if you bought when it was down.

'Video Visits', for doctors, is pretty cool.

Those were Covid19 crash fatalities that went up. Biden gave out that warning that they would go up.

Perhaps a new awareness in people about taking less things for granted, and maybe stop being picky, demanding, and entitled?
*Essentials* have been available the entire time to us, thanks to essential workers, truckers, warehouse workers, processing plants/dairys, and health care workers. As well as internet, TV, netflix, etc.
Having some stuff locked down for a few weeks is nothing like basic training, or the many people on the planet who have experienced wars being fought on their own soil. Not eating out in restaurants every night, or cutting your own hair isn't a tragedy.

Sometimes spelling matters. Candy stripers are healthcare volunteers. I'm not sure Candy Strippers have anything to do with healthcare.

I was able to draw a thousand a week in unemployment as a professional gambler because the government closed down all the places to gamble. Was never even a dream on my bucket list .
