Two verses from*Paul*in the New Testament - Ephesians 6:5 and Colossians 3:22 - call on*slaves*to be obedient to their*masters. "Bondservants,*obey*in everything those who are your earthly*masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the*Lord."

Symbols of Jesus on the cross are not allowed. It’s similar to Islam in that way, whereby drawings, sculptures or art of the Deity is considered blasphemous.
Anyway, carry on.

Yupper. Neither Jesus, the apostles or their apostolic writings ever condemned slavery, although Paul was clearly in favor of men being free.
1 Cor 7:20-24
20 Each one should remain in the situation which he was in when God called him. 21 Were you a slave when you were called? Don't let it trouble you — although if you can gain your freedom, do so. 22 For he who was a slave when he was called by the Lord is the Lord's freedman; similarly, he who was a free man when he was called is Christ's slave. 23 You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. 24 Brothers, each man, as responsible to God, should remain in the situation God called him to.
NIV
Jesus wasn't a "social justice warrior"! He didn't come to change the cultures of nations or even the politics of nations. He came to transform individuals lives one at a time, and these individuals would form local churches which in turn would impact societies. In fact, the Kingdom of Heaven and the Roman Empire, as a great example, were ordained by God to co-exist together the best they could. And so it is to this day in the world. There will ultimately be only one kingdom at the end of this age -- not before.
The Gospels record the miracle whereby Jesus healed the slave of a pious and humble Roman Centurion who had become a Jewish proselyte. If Jesus ever had the chance to condemn slavery, that was his golden opportunity. But he said nothing. He had no rebuke or condemnation to give to this Roman soldier. But he did heal the slave. Jesus' over-arching political principle of rendering unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's was clearly demonstrated in this miracle.
Anyhow...once godless anarchists, leftists, progressives, commies, etc. find all this out, they will come for the statues of Christ first. Christ's Church will likely be their next target.

But my "religion" doesn't ban them in the public square. Also, how about symbols of Jesus not on the cross?
Moreover, you seem to miss the central point behind all this destruction of historical figures. Why am I not surprised?

The anarchists will have to be quick about it or the democrats will bet them to it.
PA is right about the flag, though are already after that.
And it is leading to the Constitution being labeled as racists because it was written and ratified by slave owners.
The deficiencies of a liberal education system are coming home to roost - idiots now growing up and tearing down statues of people they know nothing about.
When they come for the flag, lock and load - that is the point of no return.
Be prepared to shoot your neighbors. Do not hesitate.

If you think the world right now is normal and all is well, you should be the one taking your own advice.

If Jesus doesn’t want anyone messing with his statues then no one will mess with his statues.
Amen
