Friday, June 5, CHRB Meeting Agenda

Here's the link:

http://www.chrb.ca.gov/board_meeting...jun_agenda.pdf

Some items of interest:

#7. Rebates

The next two speak to the abominable condition of the horse-racing
product in California and the desire by the industry to squeeze every
penny possible from their customers' pockets. Creating more pools with
higher takeouts and more low-price payoffs with more breakage thereby
screwing the customers every step of the way.

#8. Reduce the required field-size to conduct Trifecta wagering from six (6)
to four (4).
#9. Reduce the required field-size to conduct Superfecta wagering from eight (8) to six (6).

#10. Eliminate coupled-entries thereby creating more betting interests and rewarding more owner/trainer chicanery.

You can read the rest and if you live in California (or, for that matter, if you play California races) and wish to comment contact Mike Marten. MikeM@chrb.ca.gov

they found a perfect way to kill horseracing in southern california, they put that synthetic surface on all their tracks. i got to thank them for that, because i never won on a breeders cup day in my life, so i had alot of fun just watching the races on television without betting them. i have made one bet on california races this whole year, i took the free money on ZENYATTA to show. i have no idea how much money they made on my bet that day. i do know they lost plenty losing me as a regular so. california customer though.

The CHRB Board seem to all be graduates from the Bernie Madoff School of Finance.

We need to GROW the game by allowing more people to win ,not less.

Time for a change?

I noticed that the CHRB has posted the archive list of previous meetings on their website. I had not seen it before.

I want to note a big thanks to all who had a part in bringing this about.

I have sent a thank you to Mike Marten,Public Information Officer,CHRB

Two agenda items that HANA has sent letters to the CHRB for. A copy of the letters can be seen below.

Thanks to HANA for being active and letting the CHRB know that the customers CARE.

I hope the CHRB will do the same and act with their customers interests as a priority.

The CHRB track record does not inspire much hope for customer interests

I had to turn it off part of the way through. Too depressing. At least when Jamgotchians there we have fireworks!

Incredible stuff going on at the meeting.

The Scientific Games representative seems to be as incompetent as the CHRB board.

or he's just speaking double talk because he knows the board has no idea about anything regarding tote specifics.
.

Now Billy Koch is presenting an idea that makes him look as if he is trying to out-incompetent the incompetents.

This stuff is just incredible!

don't worry about tote problems because nobody understands them...including scientific games

reduce tri's to 4 horse min fields and sup's to 6 horse min fields

cheer on Billy Koch and his new reality show + wager
