We've already covered this. Under Trump (pre-virus), monthly job growth was right about on par with Obama's last 4 years. Wage growth was modestly better under Trump (pre-virus) than under Obama's last 4 years, which is a classic late-cycle observation (and fueled by a $300 billion increase in the deficit in this case). But keep looking at things with a political bias and emotionally (one in the same). I won't do that. In that vein, I would note several very promising economic statistics were released today.

No idea what you are talking about.
I am celebrating the NEW deal that is not in effect and the future it hold for the economy.
That is somehow political in your eyes?

80% of US drugs/antibiotics are made in china. Cant exactly trust that either.
I was just about to buy some vitamins but since I research the whole chain of production as well as I can, I didn't. I have a friend who is a retired compounding pharmacist. He helps me with my research and what to buy

Trump to sign EO to force insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions? That's what he said to supporters last night. Odd, very odd. The proposed EO was codified as part of the ACA (Obamacare), meaning it's already the law, but maybe he'll get some credit with lower information swing voters. We'll see.

If the law gets completely repealed or overturned in the courts then insurance companies would not be obligated to cover pre-existing conditions. That is a huge concern for many Americans so Trump is merely trying to remove an obstacle that gives people the most concern. I think it appeals to voters of any information level.

Tom was looking at it correctly
A lot of Obama's "job growth" were McJobs. Part time and minimum wage type jobs
Beginning mid 2017 or so things turned around. I can't tell you how many people I knew were downsized, laid off or lost their businesses during the Obama yrs, and recovered in the first 2 yrs after Obama exited to private life
Sorry, but I've seen it hundreds of times personally

When they tell you have the job and can start Monday, and then they ask you if you want fried with it, you know it is an Obama job.

Very good explanation.
So good, in fact, that it left Saratoga Mike speechless.

If ACA is tossed. Democratic congress will act in 2021.
Thereby rendering the Trumps EO moot.

Not only is the ACA going to be tossed, but preexisting conditions will be kept in products that resemble what was before the ACA. We are not going to build it and they will come, time to change dreams.

If the dems have the votes in congress to do that in 2021, they will be far too busy cruising around the world asking other nations to bail us out with foreign aid.
And apologizing like the Dummy did.

The racket known as "sickcare" stays
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/06/17/obam...challenge.html
Amazing that something so obviously unconstitutional is considered a tax, and becomes legalized theft.
The good news is that this should help continue the trend to bury the economy, and then we'll have bigger problems - and then Obamacare will end. Plant those healthy herbs now.
