You're right, Chris. The  was 3/1 when they entered the gate. He got a bad start and his odds went to 9/2. That's a 50% increase. In a 14-horse field.
I wonder what would have happened if he had gotten a good start. His odds probably would have dropped to 5/2 or 2/1.

I need some luck in the last 2 races at SA. I have a cheap Pick 6 going
/ / /  /  /  I have never won a p6, Real chalky but I don't care I can say I won a P6
