Oh, I know...because they haven't found evidence of tax fraud to date?

Partisans and those who don't know ignore this little matter pertaining to the Trump tax "fraud" crime he so-called committed: if the CPA firms had signed off on the alleged illegal and criminal tax returns the CPA FIRM becomes criminally responsible too. Trump is not the only party signing his returns. The firm's principals sign too. When the CPA firms sign the tax returns, they do so under penalty of law. And what CPA will risk their license and possible jail time? Not one will.

As Pace Advantage says above, and as I've mentioned something similar months ago, if Trump DID commit a tax fraud crime as accused, he'd have been impeached and sent to jail years ago.

i have a friend that got investigated by the IRS. it took them 4 years before they got an indictment for tax evasion. 15 months later he got sentenced to 18 months in a Federal Correctional Institution, he had to pay what he owed and he also got fined $1.8 million and had to pay penalties and interest. he was in for 12 months, went to a halfway house for over 10 weeks, and got out. and this guy had the best lawyers and accountants..

What if the CPA firm was unaware of the fraud?

Okay who among us that own property gets to tell the Auditors Office what our properties are evaluated at? Property values get assessed... we can protests that assessment. Beyond that it's shut-up and pay.

This is malicious prosecution at its worst... has been from the get go. The fact that they let the media view the documents confirms that.
