Kevin Patterson 14 and counting...
He got the 14th tonight. Training god. I'd love to know what he learned between 2001 and 2010.
1992-2001: 6.7% wins
2002-2009: MIA
2010-2019: 37.6% wins

Someone must have given Karl Broberg's phone number to him.

["Look," said the 53-year-old, "lots of these clowns think this game can be learned overnight. I started betting horses when I was 11, and I still wager everyday- tons of money. That's my edge. I'm a professional-caliber handicapper," continued the rebate churner who once held title to some 250 horses. "And I just like winning."]
[Patterson chuckles when asked about his relatively recent emergence as a dominant force. "My horses ran under Donna Allbright's name for a long time," he divulges with candor. "And I did pretty well."]
I think he ran his horses under Amy Albrights name.

Albright won at 20% or higher from 1999 to 2009, so that fits the timeline from the first post.

Tx for quoting my blog, sir. And I would like to point out that the handicapping comments (your first paragraph) come from Robert Cole, Patterson's primary owner, whom I also interviewed for the piece, while the Albright remarks come from Patterson, himself.
The title of the blog was "Undefeated," and it was written (last year??) when Patterson was on an incredible 8-straight role. Please excuse me for taking considerable gratification from having had the foresight to invoke Passero's record in the first paragraph. And for drawing attention to Patterson's surreal feats.
I tease Patterson on the square about never shunning the black hat that comes with such unreal and brash success. And, as stated in the blog, he is fully aware of the enmity and skepticism his record attracts.
One thing I can say: he and Cole are real bad asses, and each BURNS to trounce the competition. And they do not suffer fools. Patterson, more than Cole, conveys outward jocularity, but the man has the soul of an assassin. Cole is more upfront with his well-deserved ego, and gave me some quotes so bold, so aggressive, and so disdainful of other outfits, that I didn't dare include them.
One disclaimer, I do count both men as friends.
