I would suggest you look back to maybe week 6 (before the saints secondary started having all of the injuries). you will find, that they were ranked anywhere between 6 and 9 overall. Now before ya say "well every team has injuries and you can't use that, then I would suggest to you that the Freeney injury shouldnt of played a role in Brees' numbers. The fact of the matter is injuries do affect teams. They affect the way teams play, schemes they run, and knowing what they can and cant do. When healthy, the saints were a TOP TEN DEFENSE....the facts are there for those who wish to look.

Well, according to NFL stats, they ranked 20th in scoring defense, 21st in rushing defense, 25th in pass defense, and 26th in total yards. Every NFL team strives to create turnovers; the Saints are not unique in that respect. There is a difference between playing great defense and being a great defense. I.E. assuming there are no massive personnel changes, you can count on the Jets having a top rated defense next year – they were #1 this year with a turnover ration of +3. New Orleans’s turnover ratio was + 11 in this year. The year before the Saints were -4, and the year before that they were -7. So this year is hardly a continuation of a trend. If they produce something close to a +11 next year, then there is a good chance they will repeat, but that’s a stat that if tough to repeat.

Whilie I agree with Mr.Goren that PM is not a diety(and personally,I think no one will surpass Joe Montana at his peak with the '49'er's),I also believe that the SB ring he wears now will not be the last one he wears.

Well he won't get another one next year: No Super Bowl loser has even gotten to the conference championship game the following year since those Buffalo Bills teams that lost four straight Super Bowls in the early '90s. That's 16 in a row.
If the Ravens get their hands on any kind of deep-threat receiver this off-season, I like them to get there from the AFC - and in the NFC, if you're a "trip handicapper" you absolutely love the Giants: Their defense was tied for 13th in the NFL in 2009 in yards allowed per game, yet they were 30th in points given up. "Bad trips" don't get much worse than that.

For myself, I'd rate the Top 10 All Time QBs as follows, giving heavy weighting to winning the SB/other Championship:
1) Joe Montana
2) Terry Bradshaw
3) Tom Brady
4) Otto Graham
5) Johnny Unitas
6) Bart Starr
7) Troy Aikman
8) John Elway
9) Peyton Manning
10) Brett Favre
If Brady gets one more, I'd make it a 1 & 1A entry at the top with Joe.

Joe was so great that they named a state after him.
