Windows VHP/DOS Question

Having recently purchased an HP laptop with Windows VHP,I have copied several of my old DOS programs (EasyCapper,4in1,5in1v2,TPR)to my new hard drive but thus far unable to launch any of them.Does anyone have any ideas on how this situation might be corrected (if possible)?

This webpage may explain what you need to do. Also you may want to open google and type in "run dos programs in vista"

I run Infotran, a DOS program for parsing comma-delimited data files, on my HP Presario desktop/Vista Home Premium machine. I have not had any problem running it and had to do nothing myself to get it to work. VHP was factory installed, not an upgrade.
