At least TWO other threads on the Queens Plate and you feel the need to start a new one. Of course, if you went to one of them and posted your selections, you might not as easily be able to transition in the link to your blog.
Which probably gets a lot of action, given all the winners you've posted in prior races. Know what I mean? Following the Classhandicapper path, huh?
I'll make sure to be over there shortly.

I just spotted Andy Serling's tweet saying that he likes Big Creek. Not thrilled with that considering how he called Zo Impressive yesterday in M Goose and I did not bet any on her..lol! 12 is on my short list too, along with 1,4 .. but it depends on price.. hmmmm

The presenation for this stakes race was given by owner of Pizzaville to Smokey Fire.. quite funny!

ughhh chalkfest, even a $4.80 bet (.20) super box would have returned only $10.20.. and all 4 hit the wire with 1 to 1.5 lengths.. exciting but no good prices.!

The filly IRISH MISISON came 2nd and paid 8.40, 6.20
I must also congratulate Strait of Dover here. I knew the horse was good (based on pp) but they did not run him in the Plate Trial (won by River Rush) due to some "blood work". So I was hesitant to bet him (given the price). In hindsight 7/2 does not seem bad for the convincing win. Of course irish mission was breathing down, but did won quite well at this classic distance.
Also, thanks a lot to meuncouth!

A rather worthless post to IceKnight's thread. Why would you care if he starts one on a big race?

thanks for the support, but it is better to just ignore posters like meuncouth (my version of that person's username). they are desperate for attention. Worse (s)he is posting about me on some other thread (which is about the Belmont fallout).
Oh well.. the internet brings out a lot of weirdos. I for one, am more happy that the filly Irish mission did well and was lengths ahead of the field (of course with the short priced champ Strait of Dover). I got to enjoy a good day of racing watching Belmont and Woodbine today. Probably Los Al later tonight.
have a good day Wonatthewire!
