BCBC Tournament

Congratulations to Nisan Gabbay, winner of the 2017 Breeders Cup Betting Challenge. With a $10,000 entry fee, of which $7,500 was his starting bankroll, he amassed $176,000 over 2 days, taking the first place prize of $300,000 to boot.

After the first day, the leader (Eric Moomey) had $43,000 IIRC. Haven't been able to find Gabbay's actual bets on Saturday, but I presume he hit the 60/1 Bar of Gold in the Filly and Mare Sprint. Participants were allowed to make WPS, exacta, trifecta, and DD bets.

Vic Stauffer being mentioned in the Live thread, I note that he finished in 10th place with a bankroll of $51,000 and earning the $25,000 prize money.

Mule

It must have been the Classic that he cleaned up on as I show a different person leading after race 11. It was a real slugfest, some nice scores.

Looks to me like the winner bet his bankroll on GR to win the classic. Got a $6.80 mutual plus $350k prize! So if he bet $46k to win he returned $506k.
All figures are approx. So 10-1 on GR and a shot at the bonus if he wins the NHC. SMART PLAY

Winner had a $15K exacta 5-11.

2nd Place hit $100-$150 Double Stormy Liberal - Bar of Gold

Horsetourneys twitter has a few of the details.

I am impressed at the results of these players, and congrats Vic

It would be neat to see all bets of top 5, but they probably would not want their potential competitors to see them

I think videos presenting people who do this for a living or are documented winners is nothing but huge for this game.

There is an absolute DEARTH of this kind of thing as far as racing is concerned, and is one of the things that is killing the game completely.

I wish one of these CRW teams would agree to be interviewed...show their setups etc. etc. Not give anything away, but just show this kind of thing can be done and is being done.

That's what is going to excite more people to get into this game.

I applaud this dude for starting this youtube channel. I hope he carries through with his plans.

This is episode 2. I do not think this is good for the game.

He makes excellent points about probabilities and the super trainers. It was funny how he predicted exactly what would happen in the Belmont. Worth a listen.
