Tony Black
I met this guy 15 years ago and he had trouble seeing, with 5200+ wins He is back at Philly Racing again and doing ok. He is a class act and a timeless piece of racing. Hats off Anthony

He is a guest on Steve Byk's show every Thursday.
An a very funny guy!
I remember seeing him ride at Keystone when I used to go there in the 70's.

There was another Tony Black thread here that talked about Winning Image, couldn't find it, this one came up in the search.
Anyway, that mare is entered to race at laurel in the 5th today (Jan 3) for Tony Black fans.

Anyone who missed Tony Black, he has a mount in the first race at Parx. He's in his mid-60s and hasn't ridden in nearly two years. Safe travels Tony.

Now 67-year-old Tony Black got his first win of 2018 yesterday. It was on Popizar in the 6th at Parx. He's 1 for 12 this year after going 1 for 12 last year. Maybe he'll take the rest of the year off and come back strong in 2019.

Great photos! I hope Tony has them on his mantle in his den. Funny I remember Raise a King and Gallant Bob from that era, but My Juliet escapes the memory bank.
