I would imagine this will help make it easier to get both networks on the providers that carry them. I personally dropped uVerse when they dropped TVG. They still had HRTV. It will look silly now carrying TVG2 but not TVG, so maybe this will help.

You guys have it good. You should see the channel lineup here on Amish Telecom.

Comcast has both where I live, but you had to pay extra for hrtv. It's in a sports package only. Hopefully it'll become part of the normal package.

Both channels on Dish Network, in the basic package.
TW has TVG only, but as part of a $$$ package

Been that way forever... A ridiculous sum of money only for these two channels, while I never watch others except NBCSN.

I'm in the same situation (and area, I guess), as you. While Comcast is awful and overpriced, I have to admit, I'm usually amazed we have even one full-time horse racing channel. I guess I'm too easily satisfied.

I dumped comcast cable TV went with basic direct TV free sunday nfl tixx. No movies, no HBO,etc etc, NO HRTV,TVG I use Pirate Bay for movies and HBO TV shows. if I lived alone, I'd get rid of direct TV too. Thank god for torrents. Download all the shows Black Sails, Game of Thrones, Homeland.

HRTV used to have Jeff Siegel , Vercrussyn, Jon White, Millie and the feature shows , good for insight into big races. Vercrussyn was good for long prices.
Siegel was the bread and butter guy. Millie, White sharp. Then they dumped those guys and put the TVG frat guys on, I got rid of it

That's great. Now if only they would find a middle ground between the video that autoplayed the track every time you switched and this new system of it auto-turning-off constantly if you aren't messing with it every few seconds.
