Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf: Finding Value

I am going to look at the four juvenile races at this year's Breeders' Cup at Keenland, and see where there is value to be found. In all Breeders' Cup races, you have the best and brightest competing, so you will never find better odds for some of these horses. With 2-year-olds, you never know which one will step up and win their race, because their body of work is so light. That is why I'm always looking for value in these races. I'm not saying to always bet against the favorites, but if you see something in a longer odds horse that says "why not?", don't be afraid to pull the trigger, because the favorites are often times vulnerable.

Thank you for your kind words Woodtoo. Waterloo Bridge is a strong entrant; a son of Zoffany, who produced some wonderful two-year-olds this year overseas. Also won at Royal Ascot earlier this summer and Aidan O'Brien has said he's improved since.

Everybody seems to be latching on to his trip in the last. He clearly had a tough journey, but it isn't a secret. No way I think he is near the 30-1 ML.

Small play on Sky Marshal, who also had a bit of trouble in his last.
Expect him a little closer to the pace today...and who knows? Maybe I catch a break and get this guy on the board.
Big spread in 50 cent tris with him 2nd and 3rd with small win bet and Double with the 1-5 in the Dirt Mile

Good luck y'all

That horse was my strongest opinion of both days. His two races overseas were so visually impressive.

He was the top pick of both our American handicapper (Justin Finch) and our Timeform partner Jamie Lynch in the TimeformUS BC Package.
