The Italian Curse

I've had three Italian close friends. They were
very charming and were constantly flirting with
women. The pretty much ignored any woman
that was receptive to their comments. Women
that rejected them or that couldn't stand them
became objects of conquest. These guys would
become Romeos and would do everything they
could to win their hearts and bodies. Nothing
else mattered for a while but after they succeeded,
their infatuation quickly disappeared.

They said this was the Italian curse.

For years I would win and lose at the races.
After a very long time, I started consistently
winning. When this happened, I somehow
lost the desire to wager. I've heard it called
the Dopamine effect. Somewhat similar
to the Italian curse.

Has this happened to anyone else?

first there was the guy on twitter who legitimately felt that Mike Iavarone was actually Chad Brown hungover/binge after the issue last 'Toga and then the internet 'beef'...

i can see it, and funny but the resemblance is hardly uncanny.


then there is the Bobby Cannavale comparison.
if Bobby is a 8/10 awesomeness , then Mike is 10/10
