So Chad is wrong? The FB ads didn't affect the election?
Obviously, the alt-right was pro Trump from the get go, so FB did NOT sway them.

You guys are a gas.
alt-right mean not lib to you guys.

What are FB ads and how did they affect the election?

No one said the alt-right wasn't pro Trump from the beginning. But the alt-right typically doesn't support mainstream GOP candidates. Without that vote, Trump would not have won. Without delivering his promises as president, Trump is going to lose that vote in 2020 if he runs again. Which I doubt.

57 percent of voters say they won’t support Trump in 2020

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politic...-trump-in-2020

With the 2020 presidential election already underway, 57 percent of registered voters said they would definitely vote against President Donald Trump, according to the latest poll from the PBS NewsHour, NPR and Marist.

Another 30 percent of voters said they would cast their ballot to support Trump, and an additional 13 percent said they had no idea who would get their vote.

A quote from that article says it all:

Quote:
“A lot of stuff he’s talking about is just God-given common sense, which I think both parties have lost,” said Tom Kirkpatrick, 51, a Trump supporter who used to work in an industrial laundry plant and is now on disability. He stood near the Florida State Capitol on Tuesday, holding an American flag. “Let’s put him in. And if he doesn’t do what he says, I’ll help you vote him out.”
Right now he isn't doing what he said. He didn't deliver on his promises in 2 years with a GOP House and Senate. And now with a Dem House, he couldn't do it even if he wanted to.

True.

You can call all Republicans racists as easily as I can call all Democrats anti-Semites.

In short, Dems are more like Hitler than Trump or any Republican.

See how that works.

As that article explains, a lot of the new alt-right consists of middle-class white blue-collar workers who traditionally voted Democrat.

Those radicals?

"used to vote democrat" speaks of their higher intelligence.

The point is that they voted for Trump, not for the GOP. They switched based on promises that Trump has yet to deliver on. And they can just as easily switch back or drop out.

I love how "diverse" the cultural mecca's like New York, LA, and Chicago are and that they house all the smart people.

Yet, somehow, those are the same places straddled with massive unemployment, homelessness, crime, and the very division of monetary income (with large ties to race) in which they tirelessly berate the public about.

Tell us all again just how much smarter the Dems are than Republicans and how you fix problems as opposed to creating them.

All those that now say with confidence that Trump will not win Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin in 2020 are the same experts that said Trump will never win Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin in 2016!!

Our prototypical Trump hater:

Always wrong; never in doubt (c).

I do not see Trump winning reelection. There are a number of factors:

The economy has been growing for almost ten years, at some point it has to slow down, fair or not the President gets the credit and blame for the economy's health.

The 2016 election results show that PA, MI and WI will likely be very tough to win in 2020. NC, GA, FL and VA all could easily go blue.

The various investigations that will start to conclude this year cannot be good news for Trump.

The key factor is who, the Democrats choose to oppose him. Trump couldn't have asked for a better opponent in 2012. I suspect a lot of Democrats will eventually support the one they feel is most likely to beat Trump and not go far left. Who the Democrats choose will be the key factor in Trump's chances.

We will see soon enough. By January 2020, the picture should be more clear.

Are you claiming I ever said anything like that? If so, your reading comprehension leaves much to be desired.

We have a two party system in this country, the evil party and the stupid party. I support neither.

We can certainly agree on that.

Was merely making comments about the article posted that essentially stated all the dumb people are low-brow blue-collar types that switched to Trump and helped him win the election while all the white collar smarties voted en masse for Billary.

As you should of learned from the last Presidential Election... the only polls that matter are the ones they tally in the EC.
