North Carolina Passes Voter ID
Raleigh, N.C. — North Carolina voters will have to start carrying photo IDs with them to the polls, starting next year.
The House on Wednesday completed the legislative override of Gov. Roy Cooper's veto of rules to implement the new requirement, which voters added to the state constitution last month.
The 72-40 vote came after an hour of often heated debate, with Republicans calling Cooper's move "intellectually shallow" and contemptuous of voters and Democrats calling Republicans racist.

What if I'm not so much a racist as a voter who won't vote for them?
I thought so.

Did the new voter I.D. law apply only to "people of color"? If not, I wonder how dimwits can call it racist?
Meanwhile..."people of color" who have an IQ larger than their belt size should be greatly to no end, since the racist card played by the dimwits very clearly implies that minorities are so stupid, helpless or inept that they can't get the appropriate ID.

As long as voters have the right to vote and can prove it, I have no problem.
Unfortunately, due to the fact some will misrepresent themselves, I demand proof.

I'm waiting for the U.N. to declare that migrants have the right to vote in any country in which they toss their hat, regardless of citizenship status. That will be the next issue.

Right on the head boxcar. I think they already did that in the sense they already said anybody has the right to go anywhere they want as a human right.

Did I ever tell you I was once the President of The Human Rights Club?
What a joke, the Human Rights Club!
Sometime somewhere the Truth will always prevail.
This latest bald faced attempt to take everything away from us will not end well-- for them.

A good move by the great citizens of North Carolina.
ALL states need to follow through with similar election laws, unlikely sad to say.
