Of course the smartest move was keeping his mouth shut and not letting Nancy and Chuck make a fool of him.

Strange how in the reporting of all these "facts", the MSM (to my knowledge) never make it a point to clarify that in a Government Shutdown, many areas continue to be open because they are deemed "essential" functions. In reality much of the Government continues to remain open and function normally, and a majority of average citizens feel almost no impact whatsoever. And for those employees who are told not to report to work, don't they eventually get paid for the time they didn't work, essentially making their time off a paid vacation? IMO the term "Government Shutdown" is frequently manipulated by the MSM to try to convince the uninformed that the impact of a shutdown will be much worse that what is actually turns out to be. A short-term shutdown ends up being a big nothingburger.

Trump said something stupid.
They called him on it.
Trump now looks stupid. He will be forced to back down or be responsible for a government shutdown.
It's not Nancy and Chuck's fault Trump can't get his votes.
Pointblankperiod Nancy spreads more policital acumen across her avocado toast than Trump's demonstrated his entire time in office.

President trying to protect his countries borders from drugs and gangs gets no consideration from Chuck and Nancy who hate their country more than they hate Trump. But whatever.

Out of context quotes serve no one.
What do you think Patton’s alternative would be?
Btw......I’m all for the alternative

if Trump gets another term, those 'non-essentials' may become closures.

So I made it a point to watch that entire exchange between the three of them (and the silent one).
I thought they all made fools of each other actually. How did you come away with Nancy and Chuck solely making a fool of Trump?
All three of them sounded off their game...especially nervous, jumpy Nancy.
Chuck was a loudmouth when he wasn't just sitting there silent looking like he wanted to be anywhere but there...

That was your takeaway huh?
www.c-span.org/video/?c4768643/nancy
This is Nancy basically explaining to Trump how to do his job. How to actually win the argument and paint Democrats as obstructionist... fact is... he lied...
He doesn't have the votes...

It will be a Schumer Shut Down - Trump being very flexible to avoid it.
Dems digging in.
NO WAY a shut down is anyone's fault by lying democrats.
