It is out of line to suggest that Rubio was responsible for student deaths, which he implied. To then turn on McCain certainly hints at the same thing. Linking politicians and the NRA in the context of an emotional rant about a school shooting certainly implies some responsibility on the part of the politicians.
Those are cheap shots that will do nothing to address the problem and show a very tenuous grasp of reality.
Why would the NRA not contribute to politicians that agree with their views? Why would a politician not accept donations from an organization that supported his views? How would Rubio or McCain turning down such donations make the world a better place where we could all live happily ever after?

And virtually all mass shootings are committed by people with serious mental problems. But it is the liberals who fight against the use of mental health information as part of a background check.
Because that might stigmatize somebody, or hurt their feelings.

Republican Senator Charles Grassley’s bill to increase funding to the FBI’s NICS background check system so that the system had more accurate criminal and mental health data was blocked by Senate Democrats. It had 53 votes for it and 47 votes against it, falling short of the 60 vote majority needed because liberal Senators voted against it.

Where did you draw that conlusion that hurting someone 's feelings and stigmatizing people with mental illness was the reason Democrats wouldn't vote for the bill? I didn't see any reason given for Democrats opposition.

No such thing as petty when dealing with the left.
We learned that when they touted how many scoops of ice cream Trump gets with dessert.
Frankly, I'm shocked this sniveling punk is demanding advertisers boycott her show. It's hilarious, actually...this kid thinks he has power.
When there are more guns in the hands of people at the end of all this (which there will be), let him cry some more crocodile tears for me.

The part about hurt feelings is just a little sarcastic exaggeration.
The rest is not specified in that article. This is a long held position of liberals who want stricter gun controls, but oppose anything they consider to be an invasion of privacy by law enforcement.
Some of the most liberal states are some of the biggest opponents.
Quote:
Some advocacy groups such as the American Civil Liberties Union, however, are wary of expanding the NICS database, contending that it could jeopardize privacy and further stigmatize the mentally ill.

You have it wrong, he is advising his dim followers to tweet bad things to advertisers on the show, and many have.

And they will lose sales because of it.
Funny to watch the libs were recoil in horror over comments made about them.

He does
For good or bad he does seem to have power, based on results and effect.

She’s a very accomplished woman, worth 45 million bucks. I’d say she has little to worry about

They blocked it because it was a watered down bill that would have had no effect on either mental health or gun control. For example, the portion regarding people on the no fly list would have required the government to prove they were a terrorist threat before they could be refused a gun.

We have here a fifty four year old woman mocking a seventeen year old boy because he could not get into a college. A woman who had the power of a major American News network behind her. A seventeen year old who had just lost seventeen friends in the space. Of a few minutes. What kind of piece of garbage does that?
