There's another saying in Vegas 'A fool and his money are soon parted--usually before they run the 2nd half of the daily double'

Just a quick look over yesterdays picks, I always follow what you are doing even if I don't "play" what you post, I see about 17 horses that closed at less than 2/1 and of those 13 lost. Being able to eliminate those would have reduced your plays but looks like the win % stays about the same, around 28/29 % but maybe the roi would have increased. I didn't go back and total that up. Just looking at a possible filter to increase you roi. Also, I believe that 12 were maiden races with 3 wins and a scratch but of those 12, 2 were strictly 3 year olds and were both losers. Another possible filter if this proves out over a longer period. Just some observations on my part. Anything I can do to help out a fellow Raider/Horse fan. Maybe others with your programs can check some of these out with past races or specific tracks. Good luck with your plays today and if you keep this up we will all have to look out for you next year in the Inner track contest.

One can usually improve thier ROI by clicking that minimum odds box. The trick is to put the right (min odds) number in there.

For mechanical all-included plays, the magic odds number is probably 6, although I know people who require 8.

I had to really reach for some of these plays--to make 100. I have an actual betting method---with real money---with a 6-1 min, and 4-1 for prime plays. Ya'll know I hate betting favorites...sticking to a 2-1 min sure doesn't eliminate many.

Well...dagnabit I missed my goal--both of 100 races, and a profit. Neither one happened. 45 selections today--8 scratched. My picks were no bargain either, hitting a paltry 6 for 37, with a huge loss.

Was up 10 units after yesterday--this should have been a piece of cake today. After today - down 6 units. 95 total wagers--22 wins.

Bet $190.00 Returned $177.70[/SIZE]

I saw Coach or Teach played a series of rolling doubles @ Belmont--thought I would give it a try @ LAD.

If all horses go (which they wont) the ticket will cost $120.00

The problem I can forsee is the pools may be too small and payoffs too low.

We'll see...
