Irresistible Lady has yet to make a start since she was claimed at CD. She finished 7th in that race. She was entered and scratched for a race at Parx on July 5th.
Jalebi Baby ran in a starter allowance last Tuesday (7/26) at Parx, finishing 7th at 7-5 (the chalk) in the 3rd race. This was her second start since being claimed. She won easily on July 9th.
Classy Miss ran in a $12.5K claimer last Wednesday (7/27) at Parx, finishing 2nd at 2-5 in the 6th race. This was her first start since being claimed from the "key" race at CD, and the second time she was entered.
So far I don't see anything too "sketchy" about these three horses claimed from the same race, though of course that is unusual. It's almost two months now with a change of venue from Louisville to Philly, and these three horses have made a total of three starts with a win, place and seventh place finishes, and at low odds. As could be expected, the winner and place horse from the key race have brought home some checks, and Irresistible Lady is still a question mark.
Time will tell if any of these turn into wonder horses or are involved in some nefarious outcome, but so far it looks like a pretty standard set of claims that just happened to get clustered in one race....
