Spent several weeks in Xenia back in the early 80's. Always looked forward to weekend trips into Columbus, visiting friends and night clubbing.
After reading the article I'm blown away. These city councilors need their collective asses kicked and voted out of office.

May be a trend in big cities
Listened to Texas Standard (NPR show, statewide) this morning, Dallas will do the same but on a smaller scale.
Wife and I have decided it's time to leave Dallas County. Within 18 months we're outta here. Our suburb is safe, neighborhood has zero crime and is very quiet, but the city of Dallas is not headed in the right direction. Democrat leadership here has failed.
Almost every new major business that's moved to the area the past ten years is based outside Dallas county. At some point the tax base here will crater. It's a Blue county, so good luck climbing out of that hole

Rural Texans will never let the urban swamp to spill over on them. The state is just too vast. Every person I know personally in Texas is well armed. Harris and Dallas counties have been trashed for a long time. Austin should be renamed Little Moscow.

Isn't it obvious by now that every single Democratic governor and/or mayor should be voted out of office...and definitely NOT be replaced by yet another Demo. Let's not forget those in Congress, as well.

mostly what is left are broke people, homeless people and subsidized housing rentals

I personally know of a NYPD officer who came home the other day after being covered in PISS and SHIT. That's what they were throwing at them...and they can't do a thing about it. He basically had a breakdown and has no idea what he's going to do now. Who would want to continue in an environment like this?

It is time for a national level movement - cops in every city GO HOME and STAY home.....for at least a month.
Let the cities kill themselves.
Let voters get a look at what a victory by DEMs will be like.

This will happen Tom, maybe not nationally but in certain cities they will walk because they must. IMO it is past due.
