Thanks for the kind words. I didn't take it that way anyway, was just making sure no one thought I was hiding my PA name.

Anyway, good luck everyone. Have fun

Race six was fairly impossible for me to feel remotely comfortable finding anything I really liked in the race. If this were a pick bet, I'd be using a handful here. As it stands now at 10MTP, the horse I had made my top pick - for the main criteria that it should be close to a cap while still being within range line-wise of others that I might rate a little higher - is less than half his morning line at 9-1 so I've been looking it over and over just ready to catch some new inspiration.

But alas, with my second choice also below my line (1), and my third (2)... I'll just pull the trigger on All Is Number and hope that he floats up to 15-1.

EDITED FOR: the sake of nothing my race 5 top pick ran third, my second pick ran second for a net gain of zero but some comfort that I probably played it right.

Our pal Vic claimed he was bowing out of the contest but is currently sitting tied for third place...

Yeah... what the heck... My line was a whole lot lower than the M/L but realistically figured it would definitely land at double-digits. Floated in that direction, but holy crap was that some late play.

You guys are so bad I could be sitting 3rd even if I didn't play.

You should know better than to ever listen to what announcers say.

Race seven had me somehow landing on Shug's as my top two picks. That they were his didn't play any conscious role in it as normally I seem to subconsciously talk myself off of his for some reason. But, I had a line on Carrumba of 3-1, Fast Retailing at 15-1 for a cap try, and then 3 Wonderful Gal at 9-2. Wonderful Gal hung there for a while but is now getting play and Carrumba is going to be nowhere near the 3-1 from the look of it.

I liked Fast Retailing enough to take the shot, I think, so I'll lock it in.

$14.40 + $6.80 = $21.20

I'm not talking about the calls JIM G. Everybody should listen to our calls.

I'm talking about the rest of the crap we, well I, spout.
